Damn. Was hoping for the opposite with Gay. Makes sense to rest him on a B2B, but I was hoping they'd avoided that with how little he played. We'll see how the guys are on no rest. They really need a real fourth option who can step up when guys miss time. Can't expect it to be Gasol.

Do y'all think if prime Rudy Gay played in the east for 10 years. Would he have had made it to the all star team at least once? I am not counting the Raptors. He was terrible there. DeRozan was the clear cut better player at that point.

He had the talent for sure. Maybe in the less stacked conference, he would have made it in the east?
