But AD doesnt have any help .

Id argue out of the top 8 players

He has the second best help. At least the starting lineup. Mirotic, Randle, Holiday have all had numerous monster games.

Hes got better help than Giannis. Better 2nd, 3rd option than Kawhi, and dont even get me started with bron

Maybe the Kevin love comparisons are real.
He has help but Jrue is struggling playing the point. He doesn’t run the offense well and commits a lot of turnovers. This team missed Elfrid Payton running the offense. Plus the team defense is bad. AD has been hurt too a bit this year.

Pelicans' offense is fine, it's their defense that is the issue..they shouldn't be so bad with Holiday and Davis there, but I guess nobody else tries on D + a poor system..

Kawhi is simply a better player, period ... so of course, he has helped.
Record ultimately shouldn't matter ..eye test, advanced metrics whatever way you slice it KL is better.

But I will say this DD is a much better playmaker than I thought and SOME aspect s of playmaking I think DD is better at than KL ...
My point had nothing to do with DeRozan being anywhere near the player as Kawhi...

Even this not-quite-fully-normal Kawhi is miles better. I'm saying Kawhi has done nothing with the team (which actually got a stronger supporting cast with Danny Green) to really desperate himself as a MVP candidate, versus someone like Giannis. Being a better player than DD isn't enough.

I agree and taking those rest days doesn't help his case either. BUT mvp is a media narrative award.
    Playofs are all that matters
