Jalen McDaniels 6'10" SF/PF san Diego state.
Or
KZ Okpala 6'8" SF Stanford
With our other 1st rounder
Oshae Brissett SF Syracuse
I would be ecstatic if our draft played out this way:
#8 - Bol Bol
#30 - Kris Wilkes

Bol Bol would've been interesting 10 years ago not in today's league, tbh.
NBADraft.net has the Spurs taking LSU center Naz Reid at #9.

Looks like a throwback big man.
Could he have impact in the "new" NBA?

They really think we wouldn't take Sekou if he's available?
Batum is a tease, like Diaw. They both flash world class skills from time to time, but then mostly just drift through games, weeks, and months. His contract is horrible, too.
Reading comprehension is hard, isn't it. Obviously he doesn't want Batum to win.
Depends on what you mean by range. His mid-range game is money. None of the Spurs all-stars have been great three point shooters. Like you said before, Kawhi didn't have that range coming into the NBA but eventually developed it. That's what I expect from Rui. He already has great form and has proven himself to be one of the best, if not the best, player in college basketball right now. You're not drafting on "future potential" like these one and dones. You'd be drafting on skillset and ability right now with massive upside.
No more ing midrange shooters.
