Kawhi simply has no reason to ever come back. There should be a 'It'll never happen' option.

However if he wanted back you absolutely sign him and deal with the backlash. Unlikely to ever happen though for reasons above. Spurs have moved on.

I don't think he would hold up health wise. The same degenerative condition that was an issue last year will still be an issue. People have moved on. Tonight was some long overdue closure. There was play late in the 4th where he was driving the bucket. He planted really hard to take off but was fouled. He hopped on one leg for a brief moment while favoring his leg. He kinda limped around for a few seconds.
