We have the worst road record of all the teams with a winning record. And now Gay is out. It's going to be a very tough game to pull off. Demar and LMA have to be at their best tonight to come up with a dub, tbh.
I should get home in time for tipoff! If only I had League Pass so I could watch.

This Pistons team is very streaky. Spurs play well and they probably win. They gotta limit turnovers, pass the ball around and play solid defense. Make them beat us like old school Spurs basketball.
If "monkey ball" goes off like he did several days ago, gonna be a hard game.
he averaged 30 pts over 3 previous games.
i didnt mind picking him up as a flier because there was still some uncertainty with players... but at this point yeah all he does is occupy a spot.
I think Rudy took that game personal. He was hurt and still played. He wanted this game for his buddy DeRozan. If you watched "Into the green room with Danny Green" you can tell he knows the full story of nephew and wanted to spill the beans but couldn't. Every time the talked about nephew the look in his eyes was just like "oh that mother er, yeah he's going to get booed"
Gay came to San Antonio expecting to ring last year with a stacked team, including a fearless leader and franchise player putting the team on his back...only to find out the "leader" was a little backstabbing . He's been in the game too long to tolerate that , tbh.

Poetl starting
I watched that interview and I have to agree. Rudy clearly seemed to wanna go at the Kawhi situation and held back. Rudy a real and him and Kawhi seemed to have a compe ive beef when he was in Sacramento anyways lol. But yeah, I'd really like to know what went down with everything but at same time I'm ready to let it die.
makes sense given detroit's front line
Whatever happens just don't drink the water..
Deadline just passed, 2.2 million fully guaranteed for Pondexter.
Flint's problems started when they stopped getting Detroit water.
I like Poeltl starting, tbh. If he's ever going to grow into a bigger role (and it'd be good for the Spurs if he could), he has to learn how to play next to Aldridge. Last time he started, he played power forward ... which would REALLY add to his value if he could become a legit 4/5.
Will Aldridge or Poeltl defend Drummond? Shall be interesting.
Definitely Poeltl imo, Griffin plays a lot on the perimeter nowadays shoots six threes a game which is crazy.
Dont think Aldridge can contain him in the perimeter. Poeltl and Aldridge should switch a lot guarding him
Ah , pop is doing that playing 2 bigs thing again
I bet you Bruce Brown didnt think he would start an NBA game before Lonnie![]()
