    Brown (SMU coach) used to compare Ben Moore to Derrick McKey, who played 15 years as a defensive stopper, playing under Brown for portions of his career. "All Derrick McKey cared about was winning, defending, and making people better," Brown said. "That’s Ben Moore."

    For some reason, I thought Moore was 6'5" and a natural G. He's 6'7" without shoes, which is solidly in the SF range these days. And he's got a 6'11" wingspan. He shot .377 from 3P in Austin last year, and he gets to the FT line a lot. Maybe TIMVP is right, and he has no chance at making it into the NBA, but I'm still hoping he's got a shot at making a roster.

    SL is just about observing, but I'm pulling for him to play well tonight.
