I'm not one of "you guys". I didn't slam McCain in 08... I might even have voted for him had he not rolled out Palin as his running mate. But I've said before that I'm not a fan of either major party, and it has been a couple decades since I've voted for either in the presidential race. As for the thumbs down... the whole situation was ridiculous. Like it or not, the ACA is complicated and required a little more attention to detail than a shotgun bill written behind closed doors, and a rushed vote in the middle of the ing night. It was all to get Trump a legislative win no matter the cost. So yeah, I laughed my ass off when McCain blocked them.

That still sticks in your craw, obviously. You've never gotten over it, marinating in your resentment & hate since.
But, it's the truth. The NBA Forum was a ghost town after Florida. I stood there alone ready to rumble, but, nobody showed up. I didn't take umbrage. I understood & when, after a fortnight you guys started returning I didn't call ya's out. I let you back in & we proceeded.
That's me. I'm nothing if I ain't gracious at victory.
