"The Spurs have so many contracts that are upside down." - True statement. Contracts they couldn't trade without throwing in picks. Several young guys that will likely be upside down when they renew.
"They just keep doubling down on them." - True statement. They've done it for years, and they show every sign of continuing to do it.
"Even a tank wouldn't help now." - Opinion, but they don't have any really top notch pieces to put with a Top 10 pick or two.


Adding Carrol isn't even going to move the needle. But, hey, throw three years of cap space at him. But good to know that you think two more full seasons of this show is no big deal.
