If defense is your main concern, then starting Murray and White together is the way to go.
    I don't like White-Murray-DDR fit.
If we get rid of DDR, then White-Murray-Carroll-Gay-LMA would be my choice.
As it is now I'd go with defensive iso-heavy White-DDR-Carroll-Gay-LMA, and running-ball moving bench of Murray-Mills-Belli/Lonnie/Lyles-Poeltl

White, DDR, Carroll, LMA, Poetl. DDR gets SG where he wants to be and LMA gets PF where he wants to be.

How complicated is the damn system that a guy who’s been playing basketball his entire life, and has been in the NBA for 10 years, can’t grab minutes on the floor.

Pop needs to seriously get over himself.
Exactly. This is nonsense because it doesn't even matter whether it's true or not. Despite being past his athletic peak and gimpy, on decent physical tools and veteran know how alone, he's still easily a better option than some of the sieves they're repeatedly trotting out.

carroll has struggled with the offense and defense not just in games but practice. He’s been with the team working out since august.

lyles has picked up the defense and offense faster. That’s why Carroll has been slow to get minutes.
your sources are garbage. You said one of Aldridge/DeRozan was going to get traded before the season started. And what happened? GTFO You're following a random guy on twitter and think he's a source

If Pop wants to see if he can salvage the season with what he has, he needs to:

Start: White, Forbes, DeRozan, Carroll and Aldridge

and play a 4 man rotation off the bench with: Murray, Mills, Gay and Poeltl.
Almost, but Forbes can't start. Just swap Forbes with Carroll and Beli with Walker and the team should be good. It will never happen though
