Elizabethtown, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Cinderella Man, and Little Black Book.

It isn't so much that they are classic films, but each came out in a timely fashion and therefore were meaningful.

Inspirational?? Nooooo.

I went on a first date to see Elizabethtown and ended up having to apologize for dragging him to a just plain BAD girly movie.

Little Black Book was just awful.

Love and Basketball, Save the Last Dance, Coach Carter and lastly, Center Stage are all quality inspiration.

Like I said, they were meaningful personally- not because they will go down as over all classics.
I appreciate movies that make me feel as if I am sitting back and watching my own life... ones that bring clarity to my real life experiences.

Elizabethtown impacted me because Claire reminded me of me and Drew's father's funeral was just like my Dad's -all the way down to the blue suit.

Little Black Book was an awful movie overall. However, I had an epiphany when Stacy finally went for the job she always dreamed off.

Proof in point. Two days after renting the movie, I got myself hired to work in the Terrace Club in the SBC Center.
The movie wasn't my sole inspiration, of course. I took it as more of a sign.

A movie about Manu Ginobili's life would be very inspirational. From childhood, from a poor country and noone played basketball. Won just about all the great awards possible and is still is a humble man.

I thought David Robinson's too, but when i started thinking about all Manu has accomplished, MVP's overseas, Olympic Gold to Argentina, 2 NBA Championships, almost Finals MVP, All Star, and he's still young. Not to mention what he gives back to his people. That would be a great story. I think bigger than Michael Jordans, because Manu has won at all levels around the world.
