It's a thread about the 2014 Finals game, so living in the past is sort of expected a little, my friend.

Like having a handle "Play Boban" when the dude's not been on the team in years... As was "Play Blair." You can relate, clearly.
    Well.....yeah, you'd think so.

I bought the whole 2014 Finals and WCF on Amazon Video years ago, so I can watch it whenever I want.

And I was physically in attendance at game 5! Never forget. It was extra cool because they won the championship on Father's Day and I went to the game with my dad.

That is great you were able to experience it with your Dad. My wife and I were there and it was a fantastic evening. It still feels surreal to me. I have the box set of the other 4 championship Finals games- wins only. At least I finally have the full Game 5. I bought the championship DVD, but its only highlights.

The thought came to me as I watched that game again with a more critical eye that Kwahi was benched early in the 4th quarter, presumably because he had 5 fouls, but was that was saving him for the ending? I thought so at the time, but....

There were several shots of him walking around the bench with what appears to be an anxious expression. I empathized with those moves because I used to walk around the coach when I thought he had forgotten me .

And why didn't Kwahi get put in at the end for a minute where the coach could have taken him out for the fans to cheer???? I loved that all the team got a shot at playing a few minutes at the end, but there is something special about being taken out to the cheers of Spurs fans. I was there and the volume of sound from the crowd for most of the 4th quarter made it hard to hear someone talk to youl

So last night ,It made me wonder if he felt he was disrespected after he played a fine game guarding Le Bron. Anyone else have the same feeling after watching the replay.????

Interesting. I thought he was pacing because he was actually freaking out like 'I am about to win a ^#%$ing NBA Championship. He looked like he was really overwhelmed. Even more so when he won MVP. I loved watching it again after several years. I was there too and it was just insane. Felt great!

My son flew in from Las Vegas and bought the tickets for us to go to the game. All those years of taking him to games paid off in one great experience for both of us. Met up with one of my girlfriends from the early days of the Spurs, a former Baseline Bum. I'll Never forget that game and the electricity of the crowd after the comeback from 22-6 down.
