Spurs will probably sign a 6'2 shooting guard to throw into the dog- guard rotation. Tyler Johnson or someone like that.
Won't affect their draft position but could cement a rebuild by ensuring that they miss the playoffs.

This is the more alarming part of this, that he "just didn't progress as we all had hoped." Wonder if he's gonna come back 100%.
I'd be far more worried if it was his legs.
But either way, move on from him.
It'll be interesting to see if Samanic gets some run now.
I was hoping for a chance at the PO's but oh well. Not a big deal i guess since it was a long shot anyway.
Forbes to the rescue
In other news Spencer Dinwiddie bought a house in SA
I was at HEB the other day and.....
Remember the facilities have been closed. Spurs were one of 2 teams that still haven't opened up their facilities. Means he was doing rehab at home, by himself, without the benefit of the special therapeutics and trainers to guide him at the Spurs facility. I wouldn't read a thing into this.
I'm sure he'll be good to go by the time we get to December or whenever they plan on starting up next season.
Smart move let the young guys play and don’t loose lottery pick and since no way we had zero chance of coming close to getting out of first round
Will anyone notice? Shoulder surgery - wink, wink. Elective surgery during Covid...
Young'uns should get some burn.
A lot, actually.
I dont think Tim will count as "on the roster" since he was a coach but hey we could try and use a loophole.
I read an article by our ST guru in chief saying the lottery pick will be judged by our standing when the season halted in March. So 11th is as bad a pick we could get. Unsure what would happen if we made the playoffs, but assuming it would still be 11th at worse....anyone know?
I seent it. Supposedly his gf is from SA and lives here though so it's possible thats the only reason.
that means Spurs will fill the roster spot with Eubanks. Not that it matters
I understand both p.o.v.'s. I'd be in the lottery camp if the Spurs didn't have an epic record in progress.
How I understand it the team that makes the PO would not keep their prior seeding. So If Pheonix or Washington were to make the PO we would get a better pick. (Washington would be the more likely option in my opinion as they just have to be within 4 games and then beat them twice.) If we get into the PO then we would no longer have the 11th spot but draft on being the 8th seed.
Zaza the reason Aldridge doesn't have a ring smh
Well that makes a lot more sense. With us making the playoffs, I don't think the odds are with us, especially without LMA. However anything can happen. Race for Seis!! I'm just shocked we are going to play any more at all.
Looks like the tank is back on the menu boys.
So a starting lineup of:
Murray
Forbes
DeRozan
Lyles
Poeltl
insert Jim Carrey throw up gif now
Ok I sense this is going to be a glorified training camp now for Spurs. Opportunity to run a few experiments for next season. Just missing a few newbies who’ll arrive a bit later in the years.
I can probably miss the early rounds now and just tune in for the LeBron-Kawa West Finals.
I dont think this will hapen but my dream lineup would be
Murray
white
KJ
Metu or saminicc
Potel.
I think there is some hope of a
Murray
DDR
KJ
Metu
Potel
