No offence to the fine citizens of NJ, but your link was 404 and I'm more interested in TX.

    Thanks
    Thats fine. I fixed link.
    https://sussex.nj.us/cn/webpage.cfm?TPID=17089

Other states will not list this clearly, if at all. This is why you have to view historical data and download the csv or excel. You need to actually use math. This is why I showed nj. Example of why backlogging probables makes daily count or es ignorant to view

Not me, I pointed out Cuomo has his share of responsibility to take on... Pretty sure also that the dislike for Cuomo and DiBlasio has been thoroughly expressed here.
I don't loop you in with the nutjobs.

He's a heinous embarrassment to the great name of Andrew.
At your 500K a year, you're smoking him in salary though.

At the risk of defending Cuomo, two things:

    1. You can show all of the pictures of big protests you want, but the number of people in New York (or insert other state here) who are in restaurants and bars in a given day is far greater than the number of people in the biggest protest they've had. It's simple math that gets overwhelmed by sensationalism.

    2. Who can/should be held accountable for the protests? Who can you call on to stop them? You can try to shut down mass protests by force if you like, but you risk even greater violence and uprising. You can't close a protest like you can close a bar.

The protests are certainly a public health risk right now, but they're smaller and less manageable risks than public businesses. Sad but true.

    So it's a numbers game.

Or it's a power game - overpower the authority and you can run your business, mafioso style.

These are not good arguments. They seem contrived and desperate to clear Cuomo. Not surprising Cuomo is a dem.

There is no other city here like N.Y. Population density made it impossible to control.

Trump could have informed every American back in November.....but he didn’t.

    For reasons.

Deaths trending down for weeks. Yesterday lowest death total in months even though backlogging and probable deatyhs increase.

Cuomo ed up under the stress and panic of the pandemic

your adored Trash maliciously, calmly ed up USA's pandemic preparedness for 2 years before the pandemic, then, for his own political skin, did NOTHING for 3 months, creating the eternal tatoo of his very own Trump Pandemic, 115+ DEAD, so far, 43 M unemployed

    but "Cuomo ed up"?

Why didn't Trash block travellers from pandemic-struck Europe, 1000s of sickos flying to NY?

    but "Cuomo ed up"?

I haven't attempted any defense of Cuomo's handling of the virus. But objecting to enforcement of business regulations by pointing the the protests is a bad argument.

If you object to the protests as a safety hazard, tell us what you think should be done about them. If you object to the enforcement of business regulations because you don't believe COVID is actually a threat, that's another debate altogether, and your point of view would support the protests anyway.
