Go Rockets!
Pretty good. Altho i would have had Anthony Davis be the final diva.
And Kuzma has to be one of the chicks.
Go Rockets keep the hammer on and love bemused look on LBJ during last few sequences...
Lebron's best teammate ever looking fantastic.
AD is so ing soft, it's almost unwatchable. He takes so many Charmin-soft 20 footers against guys who are smaller than him. You would think he's prime Shaq from the way Media talks about him.
Lakers can take solace they lost Game 1 vs the Blazers. I guess.
Leave it to to D'Antoni to turn the most amazingly talented PG in the history of the nba into a 3 chunking bum
Laker fans: "Who's going to guard AD?"
Reality: Just have a 6'4" guy get slightly physical with him and he'll shut himself down.
The LA media has a way of hyping up scrubs like Kuzma or Ingram. No surprise that they'd talk up Davis like he's Shaq and Kareem rolled into one. All paid for by Jenny Buss of course. Worst sports journalists in the entire NBA.
He's the prototypical athletic 7fter with no post up game from the tree of David Robinson, KG,Bosh. Those type of players can't take advantage of small ball. It's why I always prefer bigs in the mold of Duncan,Olajuwon,Jabbar that can play back to the basket. D'Antoni Suns small ball lineups always blew up against the Spurs due to Duncan's back to the basket game.
LA media billed him as the next Tim Duncan.
Go Rockets!
Laker Fan you worried or is this an anomaly?
Still think the Lakers win this series, but they have no shot against the Clippers.
Lakers are fine as long as they don't get down 0-3. They can be down at worst 2-1 and still win the series.
This was expected, as AlexJones and I have been saying all year. Rockets are a better team than the Lakers. The OKC series was extremely fluky, Houston was the better team throughout, it was mostly bad luck.
Lakers can't keep up with Houston's shooting, Davis isn't good or mentally tough enough to take advantage of the lack of size and Harden is clearly the best player in this series.
LA's only chance is if this goes 7 since Houston will find a way to choke. It won't get that far, though. It's better for Lakers fans to lose right now IMO, getting swept by the Clippers would be much more embarrassing.
How is a team starting Danny Green at 33 years old? Giving Rajon Rondo minutes in 2020? Starting KCP?![]()
The Lakers are losing to math
Y'all have no idea.
First and foremost I absolutely LOVE my SPURS! I find it semi easy to cheer for the Mav's simply cuz i lived near that region. After that I rooted for the Rockets.. comeback kids years. Since Harden i hated the rockets. HOWEVER.... now that it's the rockets, which seem humbled a bit, that are going against LaBald and all of their hype ARMY.. go Rockets i suppose.
lakersground.net with 87 page thread most about this fail and main themes:
Vogel idiot for playing Rondo so much
Davis soft as charmin
Kuzma over-rated
Just a bad matchup for LAL and opinion split on resolving soon
LBJ 0 points in 4th either good or bad going forward as some expect him to dominate next game
Refs favored Rockets
Good stuff all around
