I've come to the conclusion that PATFO will stick to where they are picking. They probably feel confident someone will drop.

Depending on the long term severity, I'd just take Oknogwu if he falls even if surgery is needed. Pass if it's the James Anderson injury.
Don't go looking for an injury. Injuries will find you.

I don't see it happening but if Killian Hayes falls to 11 do you take him? I think I would.

If he falls, I think you gotta take Onyeka even with the injury

Welp, guess trading up to the 2nd pick isn't happening ...
Yeah, instant killer, smh. Can't beat that package if it really is on the table. Man, why do the Bulls have to be so ing stupid? WCJ is a 20yo double-double machine, great athleticism and shotblocking, he'd definitely go top 3 in this draft. Stupid ass Bulls.

I still think the Spurs could trade up, but as I was thinking, it might be towards the 6-8 range rather than #2. I guess there's a better chance that we keep #11 under this scenario...

Buy low. This could be the perfect scenario. Okongwu could be the guy.

But if they already have plans to trade up, this could blow things up if Okongwu is the target -- maybe it would be overpaying to use the X pick on him now.

The other trade up pick that makes sense is Avdija.

The Knicks making moves! They traded the #27 and #38 picks to Utah for the #23 pick.

What does the Hornets have to offer Minnesota that's better than the Spurs?

I guess a lot...they have the third pick. But the third pick is still too close to the top, which the T-Wolves don't like anybody at the top it seems.

We could send them DeMar, 11th, and.... Lonnie?

Minn does have a desperate need for a SG and they could see Lonnie as their potential starter for years to come. I just wish Pop showcased him more in the season bc I don't know how good the scouting department in Minny is and whether they've kept track on a player like Lonnie.

I wonder who the Knicks are targeting to move up a measly four spots in the first round. So odd.

Don't think it's a matter of targeting anyone in particular. If they did, the trade would have happened during the draft when they see their guy available at 23. Most likely they didn't need a 2nd round pick since they already have 2 firsts and found a deal to get something for it. Not too shrewd IMO, especially in a draft with so many unknowns.

Every year we get all excited during the draft and the Spurs dont really do much. They either draft someone under the radar that you have barely heard of, a foreigner you have barely heard of, or sometimes they get lucky and someone drops into their lap. I'm hoping someone drops in this draft. i would be absolutely stunned if they made a trade.
