It's one thing to disagree, but another thing altogether to blast him because he didn't start a homer thread. I thought he raised a good issue, although I don't think Duncan is to blame. I'm not even convinced that he wanted Kidd as much as the media acted like he did.

Actually, I wonder if we would have made J O'Neil our 1st option if things would have been different. I will convince myself by the end of the summer that it wouldn't have.

Hard to make JO your first option when he won't return your calls. He was never gonna turn down that money-never. Plus, he's still THE MAN and that may be just as important. Championships don't mean as much to a 24 yo who thinks he has 10 or 15 years left to grab some of those. Afterall, it's not that hard to win one is it?
