You're in Austin so you probably couldn't handle cold weather as much as you talk it up.
Really? I think there's many more lavish stadiums, especially these days. I'm sure Lambeau is pretty rustic; it was built like 65 years ago, right? In the 1950s. No protection from the elements in the coldest weather sports climate in the USA. I'm sure the one in Minnesota would be a lot more pleasant to visit in the winter time.

This is the equivalent of a Catholic saying there are newer better places than the Vatican or a Muslim saying there are newer better places than Mecca.
All the same, my understanding is a lot of money has been put into renovations over the last couple decades. I know it seemed more modern than not when I visited. It's not like Fenway Park where you're see cracks in the cement from ages ago and old beams and that kind of thing. Though I haven't been to Fenway in some time, so maybe that has changed via their renovation process.
Lambeau is well fixed up with imposing facades, each entrance is named for something famous. There are tributes also if I recall to the local tribes of Indians who run rather large gambling operations.
Trust me Lambeau is no dump. And the fans relish going to games in the cold Wisconsin winters. It’s their thing.
I've been to Grosse Pointe before. That place is niiiiiiiiiiice!
