    How far southwest? I am out in Katy, but I work around Memorial City. We could get something together at BW3 on Westheimer and Kirkwood. When I first moved here bck in '03 I was living in a hotel waiting for the house to get finished. Every night the Spurs played I was there demanding that they turn the game on. Pissed off the Rocket fans, which was my intention.

    I have some time off in December and we were going to be back home for a few days down in beautiful Westwood Terrace. Was going to try to coincide it with a GTG if I can.

    Batman/3rd coast .. When are you planning this GTG? For a home game? If so, you can plan it wherever you want because I won't be there (I'll be at the game). But for road games, I am obligated by my job to be at specific establishments.

    We live on S. Gessner, so Kirkwood would be fine by us, but is nightmarish for anyone coming from midtown or farther east (I hate the Katy Freeway).

    If you want to have home game GTG's at somewhere like Applebees, Hooligans, whatever, just pick the place and I'll make the thread for you and stick it to the top, etc. I just won't be there. But maybe I'll meet up with you after games.

    We can go some place further in town. I live and work out here on this side, so I don't spend much time inside the Beltway, outside of going to MicroCenter!

    I have been here almost 3 years and have never really explored the sports bars here in town. Name the place, and I will lie to my wife and tell her I am working late. And no, she will not come as she hates sports (her one big fault) and it's a school night for the kids.
