Maybe someone needs to teach you to recognize true talent when you see it.

Good to know Rasho learned how to dunk. Who's going to teach him how to not suck?

    It won't be Nazr.

Nazr came in and put some ing hostility in the paint. Rasho was leading the cakewalk.

Some of you need to wake up.

Nesterovic played well, but he is not quick enough to keep up with a Diaw or Marion.

    Horry fits that perfectly.

Nazr came in and played great. Defensively he was a nightmare, offensively, he was great.

Nesterovic counting tip outs, prob had about 9 10 rebounds tonight.

What else is he supposed to do? He missed some shots.

So did Bowen, so did Ginobili, so did Parker.

BTW, someone tell pop that this Oberto is the most overrated player since probobly, uh, Brent Barry.

Rasho was leading the Suns layup drill. If he would've played the second half, the Spurs lose by ten.

Yeah, Rasho was a monster in in 13:10 with 2pts 5rebs 1st and 2to. While Nazr had 11:34 with 9pts 5rebs 0st and 1to. I did not get to watch the game but I bet Nazr had a better player Effeciancy rating than Rasho. And if you think the starting center is filled quite nicely you better think again. With POP as coach who ever earns the position will get it. And at this point it seems to me POP trust Horry more than anybody at the C.
You did not watch the game, is the key to your ignorance. Most who complain about Rasho actually watch the game, yet don't understand it. Rasho played some solid stretches of defense, and had several killer picks that opened up Spurs penetration. As Sean said, he missed some easy putts, before throwing down the slam. Although Nazr played with great energy and snagged boards, he forced some shots early and had several missed assignments and was killed on spin moves twice by the Suns interior. With the Suns playing small ball, Rasho was not needed, and thus did not get many minutes in the 2nd half.

The key to Rasho's play on the court is breathing.

    Breathe, Rasho, Breathe.

The mere fact any Rasho dunk generates its own thread says it all.

No one else on the Spurs had a dunk last night, if I remember correctly.

    Wait-- Manu did.

No other big had a dunk last night.

    and Horry too.

I realy like Rasho and what he does in defense and his team play, but it's not enough compared to what Nazr brings.

Angel, if Rasho is not playing much you might have more of a chance of scooping him up from his depression.

Perhaps. But lately methinks that just being a supportive fan is what I am best suited for. =)

At any rate, I am delighted that Sho is doing so well. I knew he had it in him. =)

What does Nazr bring that is significantly more than Rasho?

He dunks?? Oooooo wow, he gets the same amount of points for that dunk, as Rasho gets for that 2 foot hook shot.

Nazr is terrible defensively, he is out of position constantly, but I like him cause he has potential to be even better.

Rasho is maxed out at what he is doing, period.
