Game Ova.
I told ol Billy G the 360 would be a good idea!!!
The only reason the PS2 outsold the Xbox is because it came out a year+ before the Xbox.in gaming:
Sony > Microsoft.
The tables have turned turned this time around. I don't see Sony making up the ground.
And despite what all the Sony fanboys say, the hardware in that system is going to be a wash with the 360. If you want your ass Final Fantasy games by all means go PS3.
They're going to have every other game in common (including any new GTA les), but the trump card is the 360 will have Halo 3.

halo 3 is for s.
halo 3 is for s.
So what do you like best about it?
I like this there Spam.
Tastes good fried. Eggs on theside. Before a nice mornng of hootin, hollerin, drinking, snortin,and huntin. Alright everyone, is telling me it's past my bedtime and since the Spurs game is over? I got nothin. Til next.
I looked up this xbox stuff and damn, I didn't realize that it starts at four hundred, then five, then six, then seven hundred, upwards to nine hundred, depending on the system you get.....
that is just outrageous. i think i will stick to our crappy ps2/
Dude, the Halo series is a sad excuse for an FPS le. Halo 3 will get boring in 20 mintues just like the last two and the mutliplayer mode will get boring after 3 days or so. So far X-BOX hasn't shown me anything except it's riding on Halo 3 to save them.
Not to mention if won't look all that great if you don't have a hdtv. So I'd save my money, this is not next gen.
And the ps2 is far from crappy.
I like my ps2, i have the wireless system on it and i play it on a sixty inch bigscreen, it is pretty tight.
better than the atari systems the argentineans still play on, i'll tell you that.
I was at the Wal-Mart on 410 and Rigsby at about 7 pm and there were already about 15 people waiting on the X-Box 360. I thinking about buying it but I think I'll just spend $200-$250 on a nice graphics card for my PC and get equivalent graphics.
Gaming on a pc is alittle more than just the card, but I gotcha.
I understand that but I got a 2 ghz Pentium 4 with 256 mb Ram. I think a new graphics card will up the quality of my graphics consiberably. I just bought Call of Duty 2 and am running it with medium quality graphics at 1028x768 resolution without any lag in framerate.
cool deal, I'd get more ram, but if its running without lag, who needs it.
I need to get one of the xbox 360 controllers for PC.
I'd like more RAM too, but my thinking was that if I got a better graphics card, I could run Call of Duty 2 and other new games with high quality graphics without any trouble. I have an Nvidia 64mb graphics card in my system now. I don't know much about the hardware side of my computer so I don't know exactly what I should be shopping for. I am considering a PNY Verto GeForce 6600 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card
* Powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 6600 graphics processing unit (GPU)
* 256MB DDR memory
* 8X AGP interface
It runs about $150. Does anyone know if this would be a good card to get for my PC?
I got the x360 early am 12:01...It's pretty sweet and looks amazing on my new Hi-def TV. The funny thing, I pre-ordered through Blockbuster and I was the only nerd who showed up and the only person to actually order one through them...funny .
You should sell it on Ebay!
same here!![]()
yeah, and I'm sure that PS3 isn't counting on Killzone 3. The playing field is now even between Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo is like the little brother who's trying to always keep up with the big brothers. I have no preference as to who makes what, I've owned every console that comes out.
You really need to get over it, play the games, not the consoles. If you pick sides, you miss out on some great games.
Yea for now.. Microsoft is the king today.. because PS3 is vaporware at the moment (it does not exist in production). Microsoft estimates to ship 10 million x360's by the end of 2006.
If you have one and are planning on selling it...you should have done it on the first couple of days...people were getting $1,500 to close to $3,000 if I remember correctly. Now the prices have leveled off, and they are going for around $600 to $800...
