I disagree. the point was worth proving. It wasn't just one think with Owens...it was a number of things. One player is not more important than the entire team.

I was watching some talking heads on TV last night, and I agree with what they said. TO will never get another deal that isn't laden with trip wires and out clauses for the team, and TO will never even whiff another deal close to the "unacceptable" contract he just ed himself out of.
Someone else last week said that he would become a one year "rent-a-player" each year, and I have to agree. Oh, the initial signing may be for two years or three years, but how many contracts actually run their course in the NFL?
