What a load of crap
Of course he did.
He campaigned on bringing manufacturing jobs back, when it was clear that was unachievable (and it was).
He campaigned on the cheapest and best healthcare, and his healthcare law, that thankfully didn't pass, had nothing about cost controls or quality of care. He only brought up importing meds from Canada with 6 months to go in his presidency and because his polling numbers were in the tank.
He campaigned on his hedge fund buddies having to take a hit in the name of fairness to main street, and he gave them a huge tax cut, forgivable loans, etc.
He campaigned on himself having to take a financial hit, then hired his entire family into the government, contracted his own hotels, made Mar-A-Lago the White House, etc.
Dems are far, far from saints, but the current version of the GOP is just re ed. Not only they lie to you, but they use the absolute worst lies (god wants this, we're bringing manufacturing back, we're gonna give you cheap and great healthcare, we're making america great again, etc). It's just insulting.
What a load of crap
No, I'm not gonna watch some 12 minute YouTube. I'll just laugh at your stupid comment instead.
Obviously a response to thin air, since no way I was responding to SR21's "the opposition" comment.
then shut the up
angry.
Then stop saying stupid , dummy.
You didn't watch the video but you're "wut" when I simply repeated what was said in the video.
Simple Blake, you'll never catch up.
He makes a lot of good points. I share his frustration.
Rich liberals can be, and often are, just is selfish as any group of neo-fascists.
Actually, they do.
Doesn't take very much effort to find the 2016 neo-fascist platform, and figure out they run on platform that their actual policies actively oppose.
Republicans: We support STEM education.
Also Republicans: Just don't teach evolution or climate change
Republicans: We want to reduce the Federal Debt
Also Republicans: Let's take on a lot of debt to give tax breaks to the wealthiest people
Republicans: We are the party of small business
Also Republicans: Here are huge subsidies to big business
Republicans: We are the party of religious freedom
Also Republicans: Ban mosques.
Republicans: We are the party that opposes judicial activism
Also Republicans: We support judicial activist judges.
So that kinda fails.
Absolutely.
He said he’d taxes for regular people, and that the super-rich like him would pay more. He did the opposite.
He said he wouldn’t “cut Social Security like every other Republican and I’m not going to cut Medicare or Medicaid.” All of his budgets did exactly that.
He promised to bring down the price of prescription drugs and said drug companies are “getting away with murder.” He never proposed any major legislation on that.
He promised to protect Americans with pre-existing conditions, and repeal the ACA. His justice department tried actively do away with both.
He promised to lock up Hillary Clinton for using a private email server. He didn’t.
He promised to use his business experience (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) to whip the federal government into shape. He just used it to give the worst kind of incompetent cronies jobs.
He promised “six weeks of paid maternity leave to any mother with a newborn child whose employer does not provide the benefit.” Never bothered.
He promised to bring an end to Kim Jong Un’s nuclear program. HAHASHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
He said he would distance himself from his businesses while in office. He used his office to benefit his businesses in as many ways as he could.
He said he would release his taxes. He didn't.
He said he would provide health care. The plan was (and is) always "two weeks away".
He said he’d force companies to keep jobs in America, and that there would be consequences for companies that shipped jobs abroad.
the list goes on and on.
Then the video said something stupid. Thanks for catching me up.
Derpmc, you'll keep being a forum kickball.

Did you watch the video?
ignorance + confidence = bag (or deutchbag, have your pick)
Watch the video then argue. Right now you're just being the same lapdog cuck you've been for the past 10 years. There was a time when you had rational discussions here.
Wait, that was someone else. nm
Missed this one.
The video isn't about the leadership per se, not completely. It's about the affluent voters who say they want one thing but then do everything in their power to avoid it. If the left doesn't really want the things they say they want, what would they do if they had full power? What would they want? We know what the GOP wants. Is the left really that different outside of how many firearms they own? They both want single family homes, they both want to protect their own neighborhoods from the people they purport to care about (the GOP doesn't purport to care as much about them though). Neither side is willing to sacrifice their personal lifestyles to effect real change.
It seems no one wants to discuss the video.
It's actually on point, IMO. A similar one for the GOP would probably be... longer.![]()
Yes. Already posted what I thought of it.
The video has nothing to do with your question, dip . RG answered you straight up.
I can already guess how it goes and I have no doubt it's mostly on point about how ty a lot of thing is about the libs.
Boiled down, we're left with figuring out which party in a two party system is less ty. That's about it, amirite?
Rich liberals run your party. In essence you're saying the liberals are as bad if not worse than neo fascists. That makes them much worse than your run of the mill conservatives. Why do you continue to support them?
You posted a question that was stupid that had nothing to do with the video. I laughed at his stupid it was and you went personal. It's what you do.
You didn't watch the video. How would you know?![]()
Nobody needs to watch the video to answer this question, dumb . It's a stupidly simple Google search.
It's pretty hilarious how super forum detective DMC struggles so mightily with deh Google
You could do the exact same video for Kansas, Wisconsin etc, why aren't they small govt trickle down utopias?
A lot of people have consistently been saying it's not a problem of left or right or economic system, it's a problem of ty leadership that values getting/staying in power and personal short term benefit over ideals and public long term benefit...
i imagine OP will shorty post something similar of the right wing having some real introspection re: their failed promises
