It's because the league has caught on to him and everyone knows if you face him up and go right at him he doesn't have the reflexes or athleticism to really do anything about it.

Poeltl's days of being some elite defender...which i don't think he ever was...is over...if the spurs could give him away they should.

Cleveland legit just gave the ball to Allen multiple times and cleared out so he can go one on one with Poeltl and Allen can barely dribble 3 times without traveling...
