These mother ers had ONE job! As a team, and a franchise, we need to get our together and get back to losing!
Time to start sitting players due to knee contusions and stuff.
Ugh... So hate winning...

Tanking is a job for the management, not for the players and the coach.
Nope.
It's not about the foundation Timmy Duncan laid anymore.
All about what Gramps wants.

I don't think people realize that a handful of other teams are actively trying to tank as well. They are also seeing the 14% chance of getting Wenbanyama, and unfortunately only one really lucky team will get him, the rest will have tuff luck better luck next time. Its not all about the losses but more so about the luck. I know the more losses the better your chances, but no, three other teams will pretty much have the same chance as the absolute worst record even if it was 0 - 82.
Some team may say screw it and go with reserves and two way players the rest of the way, some team may have a ton of injuries, and some teams are just badly constructed (rockets anyone). What ever the case its still a 14% chance. Imagine if the 4th worst record jumps everyone and gets the number 1 pick. Its going to suck for the other 3 teams who really really tanked. That's very very possible.
I just think that a few wins here and there are ok, its a long season. If we finish with the 4th worst record I'm ok with that too, its good for team development and we'll still get a decent player in the draft even if we don't get Wemby. I know Wemby's the target but only one team will win.![]()
Well, in our case the coach is part of management.
One point wins are killers.
Spurs need the best chance to get into the top 2.
If the Spurs don't get Wemby, Scoot will be a future star and a need for the spurs.
