A Blast from the past: Tiago Splitter

Tiago was one of my favourites of the Spurs golden run between 2012-14. Watching him Duncan and Kawhi swallow teams up defensively was awesome.

If he could gave stayed healthy for another year or two maybe the Spurs get another one instead of getting bullied by Adams and Kanter in 2016. Man still can’t believe the Spurs only got 1 ring between 2012-2017. They were dominant for so much of that 5-6 year run.

Pop refused to play Splitter for some reason. Most frustrating time to be a Spurs fan next to 2006, tbh.

That 2011 series against Memphis was one of the most frustrating times. Seeing splitter parked on the bench while Z-Bo and Gasol were playing volleyball againsr Bonner, Blair and Mcdyess.
