I saw her on Real Time with Bill Maher and she didn't come off as any more intelligent than Michael Moore, Tim Robbins, or any of the others. Then again, maybe it's just that show.
I remember seeing e Lee on the show and I remember being dissapointed by his appearance. I was thinking that since he is a professor at Harvard, he present well-informed and insightful views on various issues, but he didn't offer much.
Same thing with George Carlin.
I don't see the appeal to the Bill Maher show. It's not all that entertaining

I rather enjoy it.
A disgrace? Not really. She just became a celebrity and ran that cycle. The only folks that still pay attention are conservatives, which is pretty funny in itself.
Most of my liberal friends think all conservatives look up to Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O'Reilly.

true but what the republicans are doing is associating her, michael moore, moveon, and the rest of the lunes with the core of the democratic party. by doing so even a monkey can beat the dems in national elections. it's a great strategy because that's what got Bush elected even though a lot of Republicans are unhappy with him.
