He definitely had some moments for Texas last season. Not sure how his game will translate, but worth a look for a two-way player

As a Texas fan, I'm thrilled about this. I think y'all will love him. No idea if he'll stick in the big league but he has a Gary Neal type of ceiling. Just a natural scorer and has a knack for clutch shooting. And as mentioned, his pump fake is ing beautiful. Maybe the most effective use of the fake that I've seen.

As I was following the 2nd round towards the end, I saw that Sir Pump Fake Alot was still there, but the Spurs passed up on him. I really wanted the Spurs to pick him up. I was disappointed, but I thought that it would be nice if the Spurs would invite him to the Summer League. When the draft was over, I came back on to ST, and lo-and-behold, a pleasant surprise! ...Sir Jabari Rice had been
signed to a two-way contract! What a full night of fun and fulfillment that will be cherished and remembered for a looong time! Hook em Horns and GSG!!!

Has there ever been a NBA player whose go-to skill is a pump fake? I guess you could say that about that one Spur we had a long time ago --Nazr Mohammed-- got a ring with us? The pump fake under the basket was his trademark, but it wasn't a good go-to. Can you believe he played 18 years in the NBA???

Is he still the only confirmed two-way signing?

Thought we all expected Cissoko to sign a two-way, but nothing reported yet other than that foreign language reporting that he will sign for something with some form of guarantees. To my understanding there are no guaranteed two-way deals.

barlow was the other obvious candidate. While he might still stand to benefit from additional gleague time, don’t really see the value of Khem birch over him on the 15 man. This is where i thought a veteran big would have been nice to have, but now we really having nobody worth giving the spot to. That includes Grogu

Speaking of which, is there some gag order on Khem birch? I haven’t seen any articles discussing what he expects 23-24 to look like. Not sure he’s said a word at all since the trade, no reporting on whether he’s gonna play as far as I’ve seen. Meanwhile his contract is just salary filler that nobody would really want. At least Osman can actually suit up and has a similar contract.

His ability to score is impressive. The pump fake is impressive. For a two way contract I'd honestly rather have him and Champaigne than Barlow.
Champagne has already signed a big club deal, 3/$12M

Last we heard about Khem he had “passport issues” so I’m just over here imagining him stuck at Customs explaining to the agent “look… the Spurs are an NBA team… yeah… no… NBA is basketball… yeah, San Antonio… it’s professional sports… Jesus Christ can you get your manager?”

I think I was wrong about Barlow anyways. And Champagne seems to be a main roster player.
