Bassey is a good passer but he's forcing things.

I'd let Julian play through it. He's not strictly a shooter and he needs to just get through this.

ive been watching since the start of 2Q. not sure i've seen sochan make a positive play on either end. collins still not much defensively but he's definitely playing with an edge

branham took that 3 of the dribble with confidence, thats really promising to see from him

nice blocks by keldon and osman

Houston is pretty physical, but I think the absence of Wembanyama is great. I want to see this team win it without him.

Collins is really nice on offense. i like that he can hit 3's, but i'm glad he's not out there pretending he's Porzingis like he did a couple games ago. he's being physical down low and its working

really dont like collins taking 3's early in the shot clock. came back next possession, took it inside and scored easily. keep at it zach. the 3-ball is a nice outlet option but shouldnt be something he defaults to

Sochan looks like he hasn't played much ball this summer. Hopefully he is playing his worst ball right now.

Collins has looked like he's comfortable both in his role, and in the fact that what's most effective is going to vary by opponent.
He's not big enough to bang down low and use his size against everyone (e.g, against Embiid, Gobert, etc), so spacing and camping out can be effective (for him, and to help draw defenders away from the rim).

If he's guarded by this Rockets front line he's got a good advantage in power over anyone, so dirty bully ball of establishing position then getting in a short hook is effective, and effective offense doesn't always look pretty.

Not sold on the viability of the Sochan @ PG experiment tbh. Rest of his game takes a hit when he has to focus on the initiator/playmaker role.
