Spurs aren't expected to win any of the next few games so it's playing with house money. Just hope we see some of that incredible Wemby action along the way and his teammates play hard.

Would take a ridiculous amount of tanking to have top5 odds unless major injury disaster strikes.
Got the most picks and cap space in the league, can't draft like a dozen more players in the next 3 years.
It's already obvious that Victor and Devin need to be 1A/1B for this team. Then it's just about figuring out who's good enough to play next to them.
Then it's about going for the next disgruntled star that fits the roster.
Hoping for a solid showing today, I hope we see some 1 on 1 matchups between Victor and PG/nephew.
Spurs will never be contenders with Devin as the number 2 option. He isn't good enough to be on a contending team as the 2nd best player.
It's not the battle of geniuses Pop n Doc, but could still be a good one.
I'd much rather Wemby show so much that the Spurs can't tank again than for them to get another top-five pick. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd love them to lose the play-in and win the lotto. I'm just saying you can buy a second star. You still have to make your first one.
Wemby will be fine. He's going to need that 2nd star who isn't currently on the roster and the draft is where the Spurs will get him. It's going to take a top draft pick to get that type of player.
They won't trade for an all star caliber player. The front office builds through the draft.

Closest thing is Isaiah Collier, but so far he's not convincing as a go-to scorer. We'll have to see what happens in the NCAA season.
