Ok, bring on the posts where people say they HATE each others.
Stupid farmers with their time zones.
Just a reminder to reset your clocks this weekend!
Ok, bring on the posts where people say they HATE each others.
If we are not doing tank, go ahead and start Tre instead of Jeremy.
They didn’t use that specific word, but that was the idea. Creating a beef between players out of nothing is something I’ll never understand.
Suns and especially KD are going to be pissed about losing the last game. They are going to play angry. It will be a good test for the Spurs, but they better be careful with turnovers tonight.
Or they will start slow, game control and have plenty left in the tank, to push this game late
Turnovers and/or foul trouble.
i imagine phoenix will come out strong and take this game a lot more seriously than the last one. if the spurs keep this game compe ive at least thru the mid-4th id be pretty pleased
if they manage to win, that would be spectacular
will be interesting to see if wemby starts slow again, or if he has the confidence to pick up where he left off against the same team just 2 days ago
Spurs should not be worried about an angry Drew Eubanks, Josh Okogie, Yuta Watanabe, etc. Only KD is dangerous on this team with Beal and Booker out. Still won't be an easy game for the young guys
I highly doubt KD is all that upset about a regular season loss at this point in his career
i dont think he lost sleep over it, but probably will take the matchup more seriously after losing what they felt was a gimme just two days ago
If Sochan doesn't go up and punch Victor in the face I'll be disappointed.
keep in mind Book might play tonight as well
Maybe but it's not like he didn't play well to begin with in the first game. If their role players aren't shooting lights out from deep the Spurs can probably win this game. The roster outside of the Suns big three is pretty underwhelming
think they have a decent amalgamation of roster-worthy players. when they're fully healthy, having both Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon off the bench is pretty nice, and Yuta/Eubanks are perfectly fine reserves
obviously they look a lot thinner when you dont have beal/book playing 32+ minutes apiece as well
the Spurs have now stolen a win in PHX on both Christmas Day and now Halloween night. Both games were in PHX and both games were 1 point Spurs wins.
Remember that Christmas Day game in like 2008 or so when Roger Mason Jr. hit that last second walk off three.
Hope the Spurs carry that momentum but figure PHX won't get caught sleeping again so it'll be a tough win for SA
Up to the miinute injury report?
BookerDashian going and if so at least 90%?
Pretty bummed KBD isn't playing for them. Dude seemed to have earned a bit of money and gave that up for what I think was a chance to play a role on a contender. Now he has no money and no role on a team that MIGHT win if everything goes right but may well be mediocre.
It’s nationally televised, at least on NBATV. I don’t think KD would want to get embarassed twice.
Thank you for admitting nobody talked about "hate" but you guys are caricaturing and fantasizing about "the idea" you believe they have. Nobody talked about "beef" either, but just the fact Sochan is freezing Wemby out and Jeremy doesn't look happy on the court, which pretty everybody noticed. Plus the fact Wemby said in PC that he's not fed correctly, with in mind Sochan is the PG...
Tbh, I expect a blowout...I'm just not sure which way.
If Booker is out, just double KD every possession.
Yeah I got worried when the New York Times had a front-page headline, in their sports section, saying something like 'Wembanyama Dunks On Kevin Durant.'
That should be motivational!
Booker is playing. We're probably getting cooked, but I hope we can keep it close
The Suns should win big, but hopefully Victor has a ROY-level night and not something resembling the Clippers game.
