What's the point of a players meeting when the team literally isn't good enough to win games in the NBA? As you can see the team meeting meant nothing, nothing changed because they're not capable of winning.
Does anyone, especially a professional player, think any smattering of names on a roster can begin to beat better talent if they just use the game plan, that they'll get better to the point where other teams no longer have an edge? If so, that's some serious copium.

It was before the Clips game on Monday. They got blown out by 40 in LA, and after the meeting lost by 25, and then 7.
I'm not sure it's as much about freezing Pop out, as the Spurs being human, realizing they're making alot of money to entertain the fans -- but have been losing. They want to show they care and aren't taking it lightly. Good on them, and not very dramatic if you ask me -- at least at this point. Give us 20 games at 2-18 or something from right now, and maybe some fingers start being pointed (both at other players and at the coaches).
Vassell playing for clout is the least of our concerns. This is the nba 2023. Figure out how to manage the personality instead of demanding players give up their individuality.

nothing will come of this. y'all notice how often the spurs huddle up on the court together and then proceed to continue doing the same the entire gamethe roster lacks talent and the talent they have is played completely out of position and not to their strengths whatsoever. lack of talent + bad coaching is a recipe for disaster

Keldon: Look, most of us realize this is the only roster we can get any playing time on, so let's make the most of it.
Sochan: It's been my life long dream to play PG, and this is the only franchise that will let me do it. Let's be grateful!
