by the hurricane messes,
by the fiscal disaster,
by the Delay/Abramoff just-gettting-started scandals,
by who knows what else, etc.

dubya has accomplished nothing for the country, while doing his ideological best to cripple and destroy the fedreal govt.

Name one govt dept that runs better in, or a program that really helps Americans?
The Repub DHS/FEMA is a ing disaster.

The economy is on the upswing in GDP terms, tax-privileged corps and rich are doing wonderfully, but household incomes are and have been stagnant/declining, so Americans aren't seeing the upswing in their bank accounts.

The ONLY objectives the Repubs had for winning were:

1. cut taxes for the rich and corps, no matter what the consequences.

2. enfeeble/destroy the federal govt.
