Since it looks like Holt Jr just threw last year's in the washing machine with a blue sock... maybe it's not all that far fetched.
you think the execs are the ones designing jerseys? lol

I’m really hoping that just a lighting effect and not really blue.
yeah I think there probably is a group upstairs that green lights final designs on stuff like promos, jerseys, court art stuff that faces the public in a large way would be their business and something they'd want sign off control on imho for ultimate approval although after these low effort alt kits maybe that's not such an ironclad oversight process after all lol
I don't think they have hands on presence for the development process or anything though and honestly it looks like the ball boy or something does lol
Bill Miller's wants their jerseys back.
No sexy silver dancers and ugly jerseys. I think this FO just hates pretty things IMO
Nike can do nothing right anymore. Everything by that company is just cheap money grabs these days
The "viva spurs" accent font is better
Or not trying at all!
Yeah...the whole Hemisfair thing was a reach to begin with, but it KINDA made sense for the anniversary.
This is just straight up lazy
I hated the jerseys at first but they really grew on me once I saw them in action. But lame doing the same thing a second year in a row. Maybe they sold well though? NBA youtubers seemed to really like them.
But man those 2020-21 fiesta alternates should be promoted to a third jersey for the team like the grays in 2013-14 and the black on blacks in 2016-17, except they should be there for good and not just a couple of years.
Almost half the teams in the league are just retreading past 'City' edition designs, but with a color swap or in 'Association'/home white.
I just hope when they inevitably renew with Nike that all this 'new jersey every year' goes away, so they start emphasizing 'Hardwood Classics'/throwback and one well designed alternate jersey.
Both Spurs alternate jerseys are currently ass and I don't think the NBA does 'Christmas Edition' jerseys anymore (that was more an Adidas/Reebok thing).
Spurs should be bending themselves over backwards to make well designed, appealing gear to push during the Wemby era.
It is kinda silly that the Spurs are embracing the Fiesta / Alamadome 90s-based theme right now...when Wemby wasn't even born until 2004![]()
Don't get me wrong, I liked some of the Fiesta jerseys...but your FRANCHISE PLAYER doesn't even recognize that era
I am in the minority, but I think they are super cool and fresh. I love the colorway. I’ll be purchasing one for the first time in many years.
I think this cup floor leak is unofficial
Damn that is nice
Needs more beige.
Looks way better than last seasons IST court
Damn, I kind like that in-season tournament floor design.
I'm super happy I bought a Wembanyama throwback ('76 - '82 jersey that they wore 2 years ago) jersey after the NBA lottery.
I had a feeling I should snatch it up, cause the Spurs are known for not emphasizing 'cool' looks or even their past jerseys. Which is weird cause during the Big 3 era they wore the silver 70's jersey (material was slightly different and 'shinier') and the Dallas Chaparrals jersey.
That was in 2007, yet they've managed to wear one other throwback in damn near 20 years. Big thumbs down from me.

Gripes about uniforms may seem a bit hyperbolic and superficial, but when you have a player of Wemby's caliber, who's getting endorsements from the likes of Louis Vuitton, you can guarantee image will play a role in Wemby's happiness in making sure is brand is on point. Spurs need to keep a modern classic look, and maybe start looking to outsource their designs for the more fun uniforms, because this again is just hot garbage. It has to be top three worst designs in the league. Their geared to the more conservative older fans designed without trying to ruffle anyone's feathers, which just ends up looking lazy and lame.
I dont see a generation gap here. Looks like old and young spurs fans think the uniforms are boring
