I don't care about contract or trade value or whatever...
Mamu needs to take all of Zach Collins minutes until proven otherwise.
Zollins was worth an experiment, but at a certain point you've got the accept the experiment failed
Great 5x5 which is mind-boggling. Glad our rookie, Castle, had a better outing and made his first NBA 3ptr. Mamu was surely a spark. Thank for the grades!

I don't get why people say the Spurs would've lost this game last year. They won multiple games having to come back. I'm not saying they would've won. I'm just saying last year's team was exactly this volatile, and if you include Vassell being healthy rather than Paul and Barnes, they had a similar upside. This year's team should be better, no doubt, but it's not because it can beat a bottom feeder that was actively trying to lose this game.
The Jazz were god awful last night. Spraying turnovers all over the place. Probably the best chance at a 5x5 Wemby has had so far and he delivered.
On the last steal, Wemby poked the ball away and Sochan grabbed it. I was never sure which player should get credit for a steal like that.
We shall need a center then......
I want this one:
By looking at the box score and reading these grades, you'd think we looked great and maybe we're putting it together...
In reality, that was one of the most disheartening performances I've seen in awhile.
Wemby put up stats based on his sheer physicality, but made terrible shooting decisions (seemingly out of protest?) and played outside of whatever offensive game plan we may have had... maybe that IS the gameplan?
Our offense still looks completely lost, like the team doesn't even have a coach at all.
It took a spark of light from Mamu to help us overcome a rancid excuse for a basketball team in Utah.
This game just further cemented for me that it's long past time for Pop to go. Any other team in the league... and I mean ANY other team... would have crushed us.
