They needed a crap team like Memphis to gain playoff experience. Getting the Warriors was the worse thing that could happen to them.
    The bitter truth, tt.

Everything little thing is a life and death struggle. It's uncomfortable watching it.

I feel badly for the dj.

Would be stupid to panic and dump your warchest for a short term bandaid like Durant. I wouldn't overreact to this series, especially when GSW is way better than a 7-seed after the Butler trade. Though I would try to consolidate Green and Whitmore into something useful.
Oh no. Not for KD am I emptying the war chest. But I am eyeing Giannis.

If the Rockets’ pick from Phoenix ends up netting Cooper Flagg I’ll be alright

Giannis isn't fixing the problem imo, plus he'll cost more than the Suns' picks (might have to include Amen or Sengun). Should just flip some of their lesser pieces like Eason and Green into proven shooters and roll it back one more year. Like the Thunder, Rockets aren't going anywhere for a while and have the high-end picks to luck into a future superstar.

Regardless you'll be alright. You drew a monster match-up as stated.

They're all professionals so they'll recognize the event and respond as they should...get mad, buckle down and re-surface, and never forget it.

If the rockets can upgrade from sengun to Giannis, switch up Jalen green for a decent shooter, they’d be a major contender for a while.

Props to the Rockets tbh. Didn't see any way they were gonna push this to 7 after going down 3-1. Udoka is a of a coach.

Giannis is younger, but he's also the worse fit out of the two. The Rockets really need to add some shooting. If Sengun and Amen are part of your future, you have 0 room for non-shooting players in the rest of the starters.

Rockets suffered from Jimmy doing a Kawhi and migrating to the West coast. Kawhi deserves to lose every single year.

Green is out. Sengun will go if it brings back a star. Amen will be the focus with shooters.

Yep. Also tough to win when the backcourt can’t shoot. Stone sat there at the deadline and didn’t get any sort of shooting. Picks are great but to win you need players. I don’t think Fer ta will be that patient if this series is lost. Green and FVV are surely out.
Yet when I would tell you that during the regular season, you would put on your homer hat and argue otherwise.

Not sure if it’s Flexing time. The rockets did quite well for a first time. Some holes which we all know, but if they can get a reliable scorer (Durant, booker or Giannis) with some outside shooting they could be a strong contender. They could end up like the jailblazers, strong challengers for a few years but never get to the big dance like most contending hopefuls, but with the assets they have their future does look bright.

OKC is still looking to become a dynasty in the making and the spurs have wemby, but the rockets are going to make the western conference a bloodbath in the next few years.

Everything I said would happen in the playoffs (and that djohn2oo8 argued against) happened. Of course it is flexing time.
