Being a Colorado Buffs fan, hate saying it, I think Vince Young is awesome, and Texas is a great team.

Definitely one of my all-time favorites too. I think I was about 10 years old when it first came out on HBO back in the early 80's. Thought I was going to piss myself during the pep-rally scene.
Last year everyone thought that OU was going to take it to the Trojans and look at how that turned out. I don't like either team, but come on! The Big 12 is not as strong as some believe.

This isn't about conferences. This is about Texas and USC. They are both clearly head and shoulders above their conferences, so that is a moot point. The Pac-10 is no goliath.

and hmmm.....lets see, counting this years game, how many games in the last few years has the big 12 played in? we could go back to the mid 90s and count nebraska who i think falls under the big 12 when they won. not sure on that one.
oh and btw "Eight football squads have played in BCS bowls in the last six seasons. The Big 12 leads all conferences with four appearances in the National Championship game. In basketball, an unprecedented eight men's and women's basketball teams have advanced to their respective Final Fours in the past four seasons as the Big 12 continues its place among the elite intercollegiate athletic conferences."

Nobody is saying the Big XII is weak. In fact, it's more the other way around. People are always underrating the Pac-10 conference, and the most of the Big 12 fans on this forum are no different.
