If you want to call her a good singer, fine. But don't call her a good songwriter. She'd actually have to write music. And while I'm sure she's writen a token song or 2, she has professional songwriters working for her and she does covers.

I'm tired of every solo artist being labelded a singer/songwriter. that.

Anyhow, end of rant and her first album was ok but I guess its kinda grown off me or Jekka's dislike has rubbed off.

There's just a difference between a true songwriter and one who sits down with people who make this their living and is guided along.

Also, according to this listing of credits, she composed one on her own, and was involved with 6 others out of 17.

IMHO, she is a great talent and performer.
There is no rule that singers must write their own songs and almost every entertainer has a supporting cast.
