I just don't see that Mavs being real contenders. They have some nice young players but a front line of "contract year Dampier" and Diop ain't gonna get it done. Dirk is soft, he litterally had a spaz after accidently behing hit by Kobe. Instead of sucking it up and carrying on he put his head in the sand like an ostrich. Mavs have always been a good regular season team. Dirk is a one trick pony. One trick pony's don't lead teams to Championships. Kobe 62 Mavs 61...If the playoffs were to start right now Dallas would face the Lakers who are 2-0 against them and who just recently mauled them.
