even if rip's at full health, a 3 for 16 game is still possible for a good bowen defense. but rip's one of a player though..
From a basketball fan's perspective, I would like to see both full teams at work.
From Ginobili's health's point of view, he should rest until 100% healed.
I bet Pop will opt the second choice, because once inside the court, Manu will play at full gear and there's no way to for Pop to protect him from injury again.
Last year I would say no doubt about it. But Rip was shooting in the 52% range before he injured his shooting hand against Charlotte, and through those 20 or so games he really hadn't had a "Stinker" type game that he used to be prone to every few games. This offense really gets him a a lot more wide open looks. Not questioning Bowen's defense (he's the best in the league IMO), but I would have really liked to see what he could to at full health against Bowen in Flip's offense. Guess we'll have to wait for the Finals for thatHere's to hoping both teams are at full strength in the playoffs!
