So if you had a team that needed a RB and both Bush and White were available, you would take White??

Anyway Cowboys could trade up and get Young?!

hmm someone not be watching usc all year?
Just because he doesnt get the ball every down doesnt mean he cant do it. The guy never takes a direct hit anyways.

Hey Wisconsin homers (all two of yous), what can you tell me about Jonathan Orr, WR Wisconsin. I have not seen him play.

I see on a scouting report that he is fast (6'2", 195#, 4.35 40yd). Looks like he could be quite a player.
He has the explosive burst and ball adjustment skills of a Lee Evans and the size, athletic ability and toughness catching the ball in traffic of a Chris Chambers.
The biggest knock on him I see is the poor QB play at Wisconsin.
218 of 302 incomplete passes the last two years were either over- or under-thrown.

Orr is an amazing player. He is fast, and can run routes very well. I think hes going to be one of those guys that kinda goes under the radar in the draft and than has very productive carreer. He isnt much of a gamebreaker like Evans was but he will get the job done.

oh, and where did you read that scouting report on him?

    nfldraftscout.com.

It's subscription material ($24.95), but if you want more details on Orr, just PM me.

ETA: Orr is presently ranked 21st on their top 100 list, but the list does not yet include underclassmen such as Reggie Bush.

RIght now, If I were the Texans, Id trade with the Jets.

    Select the OL Ferguson.

Build that O line up, and work on the D, maybe sign a good second WR to compliment Andre Johnson.

    Mark my words.

Give Carr some time to throw the football, and the offense comes together.

VY has a good chance to do better than Carr behind that line. If the line is improved than any QB would be better off, not just Carr. Don't get me wrong, I like the Texans' chances with a good line & Carr BUT I think VY & Davis would be better in the long run. VY could escape many of the sacks that Carr has had to endure & even possibly turn them into gains.

Pretty good near the top... a coupe of questionable projections...

the Niners are very unlikely to take a TE @ #7. They have Eric Johnson coming off injury, and Vernon Davis isn't even the consensus #1 TE in this draft (Mercedes Lewis may be). Neither is worth a top 10 pick.

While the Cards run game was terrible this year, I'm not sure they are ready to invest a top 10 pick in another RB. They are pretty high on JJ Arrington, despite his lack of production this year. Maybe OL here?

Seems a little high for Michael Huff. Closer to #20 (around where Dallas picks) seems more likely for him.

If Chad Greenway falls to #14, it will surprise me. If the Eagles draft him, I'll be pissed!

Tn will take Young with McNair mentoring him and then watch out NFL in a few years.

That would be awesome because I like the ans. Cowboys/ ans are my fav teams.

I am pretty sure they will take Vince if Saints don't. Then Vince will sit for like a year or 2. More likely sit for a year then play.

Me too on Rod Wright - I think he should go somewhere in the bottom half of round 1. With a good workout, he could push towards #10 or so.

If the ans do with Young what the Oilers did with McNair, meaning sit him for almost 2 seasons, he will be a solid NFL QB. They just have to work on his throwing motion and arm strength. If they throw him right in, I'm afraid he may end up being another Ryan Leaf.

There will be alot of teams trying to trade up this year. Maybe more activity than has been seen in a long, long time. This draft is not very deep in alot of the skilled positions past round three and four but there is value in the later rounds with guys who have decent numbers.

Some of the big O-line guys coming out this year could make a splash early if put with the right staff who keep them in check. The big OT-McNeil from Auburn (6'9-342lb.) is a beast who has at times dominated. He will lose focus and frustrate you but he will not go down without a fight.
