Hawaii Five-0
What?! No All in the Family .... No Addams Family
How about Pink Panther cartoons - Henry Mancini
Hee Haw
Good one. I also like The Munsters' theme, and I Dream of Jeannie.
And the old PBS kids show, The Electric Company.
Three's Company easily.
I'll test the blast from the past feature - Zoom, as in - We're gonna zoom zoom zooma zoom.
Come on give it a try
We're gonna teach ya to fly . . . HIGH!
Box three five oh Boston, Mass oh-two-one-three-FOUR!!!!!!
Send it to ZOOM!
Sombody told me there's a new Zoom. I haven't seen it, don't know if it's on PBS.
Love That show!! and that song!
Dallas also had a catchy tune there when it began....i liked that one.
ahh the memories
I know this is TV shows, but commercials lately, I love that Coors Light Commercial that spans the Super Bowl era with that fantastic Song by the O'Jays - Love Train. Wow, that brings back some fond memories there, and its cool how they did the eras, from the 60's to now...the good ol' Days![]()
The Tonight Show, With Johnny Carson
Laverne and Shirley
Happy Days
The MOD Squad
Quincy, M.E.
The Partridge Family
Oh, I wet my pants everytime I hear the theme for
Benny Hill![]()
Oh to be 6 years old and living in Southern California once more!
Banana Splits had a catchy tune too.
And then there was Wonderama, which I think was a local (SoCal) show. Typical kid's show back in the early 70's (a la Bozo the clown where there was a small kid audience) that featured one of the most popular jazz-pop riffs of all time (do-do-do-do-do do-do do-do...... do-do-do-do do do-do .... do-do-do-do ... do)
I should probably Google it.
Before I even opened the thread I thought about GAH. And thanks to you, it only took 8 posts before it showed up.
A-Team, Knight Rider and Dukes bring make a bunch of good memories from the ol' childhood and a consensus seems to be forming for them.
y taxi!
y nightcourt!
y airwolf!
y miami vice!
y good times,
y married con pinche children.
y los simpsons!
y pica piedras!!!
Some others I like, not already mentioned:
Gunsmoke...the Tex Ritter version(John's dad) with lyrics. My dad brainwashed me with this song at a young age.
Rockford Files
Barnaby Jones(this one is really cool IMO)
Wild Wild West.
I think the theme song from Bosom Buddies was, "My life" by Billy Joel, so that one probably deserves a mention too.
Oh and um coughscoobydoocough
muy bien senor whottt. very good choice!
Magnum PI is my favorite
I also remember being a (very) little kid, watching Dallas just to hear the intro music, and then leaving because I was bored by the actual show.
Not the best but Law & Order is worth mentioning.
Not a classic but I like the music from E-Ring...
The A-team was just plain silly...
That Taxi starting song was good..
Damn, I just realized nobody has mentioned Hill Street Blues, which was the schnitzus back in the day.
The Muppet Show
Rockford Files
Magnum P.I.
Hawaii Five-0
Bosum Buddies (MY Life by Billy Joel)
M.A.S.H.
Cheers
WKRP in Cincinnati
Secret Agent Man
