^Um, do you have to label anything that agrees with you as hate, because you seriously lack any tact or originality. It seems you either take out the hate card or you photoshop president bush.

how bout you realize that MLk was not for gay marriage, and he wouldn't want gays marching who were pushing gay agenda rather than just gays who are marching for his rememberance. You don't seem that bright anyways so i doubt you'd pick it up.

So if MLK wasn't for gays, why do you post here?

I disagree with any military flyover. Military might exudes POWER and FORCE. Dr King was all about Peace. No jets. Just let it be what it is. Should be NO controvery here at all.

MLK wasn't for gays, and that has nothing to do with how the forum rules are shaped, or if i'm gay or not. But keep wishing. ....Proves how you have no logic.

I guess you're oiled up stallone avatar isn't good enough anymore, so you need me to be gay.

who died so that we all americans might be able to live in releative peace... how many soldiers were killed fighting in the civil war over the issue of slavery? how many federal troops were sent into the south to enforce civil rights and intergration... yes the military has no role in the MLK parade...

Zero. Do I get a cookie? All troops that supported civil rights were activated state national guardsmen.

Nice subject change, though. This isn't national civil rights day, It's MLK day. To do a flyover would be as relavant as doing one for Gandhi. They were both pacifists who loathed any use of force.

MLK also loathed Gay rigts and gay marriage aswell as radical feminism but i guess that doesn't interfere with those interest groups marching.

You can't nit pick what MLk wanted and didnt want to suit your purpose.

So send an honor detail from the NG with a big banner commemorating their role in the civil rights movement. A flyover is too easily politicized.

They're not federal troops. They were under control of the governor. They weren't sent south. You're welcome...for the history and force structure lessons.

A flyover seems out of place at a rally for a leader who preached nonviolence. On the other hand, the military plays such a big role in San Antonio. It probably was meant as a show of respect to Dr. King rather than as a show of power.

Oh yea, San Antonio used to be Mexico huh? How dare those Mexican border jumping pieces of trash try to come to land that was once theirs and belonged to them.
Good to see where your loyalties lie.

Santa Ana had a Napoleon complex. With a better leader down in Mexico City, Texas might have ended up a Mexican state, and the U.S.A. would have had to find another excuse to annex the Mexican North.
