Shower Faucet Repair Help - Anyone know a good plumber?

I don't think ours has a clip -- it has a screw in the top. (the old one did and the new one does)

Okay now it's leaking through the ceiling of the laundry room (the bathroom in question is upstairs above the laundry room).

So I guess I need a plumber. This frickin' sucks.

Anyone know anyone reputable and fair priced?

It sounds like it's leaking in the wall, I assume it was not doing that before the repair just leaking into the tub.

the cartridge is not seated right or the wrong cartridge was purchased. did you compare the old and new cartridges?

The cartridges are the same. I'm guessing it's not seated right.

Good luck with the fix. If you need some help I can come by and take a look at it too. Remeber to wrap any threaded connections with teflon tape before connecting them. It will make the connection water tight. Wrap the tape with the threads so when tightening, the tape is not scraped off.

Hey I took apart the washing machine to fix it the other day ... I must have used up my home maintenance mojo weekly allowance doing that. Luckily sequ is the master of fixing door knobs, shower faucets, drawer handles and anything else that is about four feet off the ground.
