Whataburger is good of course, but like stated, I too think it's over rated. Fatburger is a lot better overall.
Whataburger is real good, its the best of any fast food joint in town.
Chris Madrid's is just something else, its an ins ution....I loved having GTGs during my St Mary's days...between them and Henry's couldnt go wrong.
What is this Fatburger, I saw signs for it the other night when I was leaving the GTG, never heard of it....

Fats is a very tasty burger...I think they are a bit pricey....Original Tommy’s, In N Out...Then Fats...
Maybe the Whataburgers outside Texas are different...I dunno...
I don't get the Whataburger love either. And I was never a big fan of In-N-Out Burgers.
But Carl's Jr rules!
No, I've eaten at the ones in San Antonio. They are the same.![]()
True. Is there one in San Antonio?
Unfortunately, no. They used to have them here, but they didn't make it.![]()
Yes. There's one inside the Loves travel center on I-35, just south of loop 410.
Oh, yeah...I remember someone mentioning that. But I know they used to have more that closed down.
I pass by that Carl Jr's all the time on the way home. I have never stopped by though. Should I?
Yes. Wait for a day when you have a really healthy appe e, and order the Six Dollar Western Bacon Burger. They also have a damn tasty breakfast menu.

If anyone is interested a place called Culvers on DeZavala off I-10 has great burgers and another location that I am not to sure the exact place. You also have to try their homemade cus s for desert.
I also thought I saw a sign "opening soon - fatburger" off of Heubner near Huebner Oaks!
