If Pop would stop ing Mohammed about his sick kid and that Muslim stuff, the Spurs would be better off.
Yeah, he still got Nazr on the bench cause of the sick kid.

    Good god.

It couldn't be that "horrible defense" and "cant run offensive sets still" thing could it??

    Please.

I'm sorry but I can't find any light regarding a starting center who averages 4 pts, 5 reb, a 1/2 a block, and a guaranteed contract.

I waited until 41 games were over to sum up my opinion and I am going full force with questioning Spurs management as to why this ing stiff is still playing on the Spurs.
Because he plays good team defense, he alters and blocks shots, he plays better than average defense on dominant centers like Shaq and Yao, and his screens give Tony Parker and Manu at least 3 layups/game each.....and all while you're watching the dribbler.

That's been reason #1 that the Spurs have given for Mohammed's benching this season.

Lord, help us if Rasho is our starting center come June. I'll call you Mohammed if you like.

Well then, how come he doesn't play in the fourth quarter?

Why start a stiff that can't finish?

Rasho is playing because the Nazr can start in the last week of the season and double Rasho's stats from the first 70 games.

Hopefully Rasho will improve so Peter Holt can trade him for some hay bails or something.

Cause Pop likes to go for Horry who can nail the 3 and stretch defenses in the 4th quarter.

Well then, how come he doesn't play in the fourth quarter?

Why start a stiff that can't finish?

He plays in the 4th when the Spurs need rebounding and defense or when the opponent goes big. Most teams don't go big at the end of games. 3 guards is commonplace.

Robert Horry is a better choice to keep the floor spaced out of respect for his outside shot, plus Horry is one of the best 4th quarter performers in the history of the NBA.

Jump in your time machine and tell them this. What do you want them to do, have him killed? He's under contract. Who was the better choice when Rasho was available? Olowakandi? Nobody particularly wanted Robinson to get old, but using hindsight to slam the team for making a move is re ed.

Mohammed's loss of the starting job is based on his absence during training camp. For someone who follows the team as you do this shouldn't be a revelation.

Horry plays Forward or Center because Rasho offers nothing offensively, defensively or in the rebounding dept.

Horry gets more minutes during a timeout than Rasho gets on back to backs.

So, he continues to not have the starting job cause of training camp??

    Really..

If Mohammed right now, was playing SO MUCH BETTER than Rasho, wouldn't you think they would switch??

    They did it last year.

They did it in 03 with Stephen Jackson over Steve Smith.

    Shouldn't that tell you something?

rasho was on the bench virtually the entire playoffs and we won it all. last time he started we choked. end of story. defense wins championships but with defense comes REBOUNDING. send rasho home, thank you.
Rasho didnt play in the playoffs cause he wasnt totally healthy prob till round 2.

Remember that ankle injury vs the Clippers near the end of the year??

He doesn't get hurt in that game, he is the team's starting center for the playoffs.

But, once again, don't let facts get in your way skip.
