    Reasons why Texas didn't win....

    Oklahoma 2 pt 31-58 53% 3 pt 8-19 42%
    Texas 2 pt 27-57 47% 3 pt 5-18 27%

    I don't know how many turnovers Texas had because Yahoo doesn't show that yet but i'm sure that could be another reason.

    Also Texas' zone didn't work well tonight as Gray was getting easy shots and Oklahoma actually were making their outside shots.

    Well Barnes did get Texas to the Final 4 in 03. If Gibson and Aldridge come back next year when we have Durant and our superior recuiting class. I'd expect Texas to get to the Final 4. They still have a chance this year but need to step it up when needed.

    Adridge ain't coming back. Speaking of 2003 and Carmelo and McNamara tearing his ass up when Texas was basically IN THE GAME till middle of the second half... when coaching was needed...it wasn't there.

    Granted, Carmello Anthony is Carmello Anthony....so I give him that 'pass' as it were but this...is just inexcusable.

    Mistake #1 is thinking that this was a gimme game. Granted they should have played better, but it's hard to win on the road in the Big 12(and most conferences in general.) Texas was beat by the number 22 team in the country at their home court. I would hardly call it an embarrasing loss. Barnes is a good coach, and I doubt anyone wants Penders back. We'll be lucky to hold on to him. All in all, I look forward to Oklahoma going to Austin, and leaving with a double digit loss.

    UH..I did not make that up (wish I had)...it happens to be a two word statement on a shirt the AGs wear around here. Gee, figure it out Mr Genius...Tough one I know. Some in the academic world (myself included) would likely refer to it as a spoonerism (very witty and actually intellectually sound/advanced). Look it up if that word goes beyond where you happen to be vocab wise. Might see it on your SATs or ACTs

    As far as the Steeler/Colts thread; you must refresh my memory. I do not recall anything there, but I could be wrong. Regardless, I am certain it was witty. I do not tend to waste words or keystrokes.

    Correct. There is no way, Texas could have went undefeated in the Big 12. It would be nice but there is just no way.
