The spurs should be concerned with the mavs. Looking ahead to the pistons is a mistake.
Trust me. No Spur is looking ahead to Detroit. The don't know 'times and trials' while coasting through a heathy roster. Dallas and SA are looking right at eachother and just waiting to pounce.
spur fans might look forward to the pistons, but i don't think the players are.
Well that is a good point. Just hope that the overconfidence of the fans doesn't happen to the players on the spurs as well.
His comments were in answer to the Piston fan saying the Pacer loss was a scheduling loss. Since the Spurs have been off almost a week and have still played more game they must have had more chances for scheduling losses earlier.
In the end, everything balances out. Play ball!
The Spurs are not concerned with the Pistons or the Mavs. But it has nothing with taking either lightly. As a Champion, the Spurs understand it is all about them being the best they can be. The Spurs also are very aware of playing the playoffs ... one series ... on game ... one play ... at a time.
