It's funny that Yoni criticizes Muslims for 'letting islamo-fascists hijack their religion', but strangely says nothing about the Pat Robertsons and John Hagees hijacking the Christian religion.

Pat Robertson is a nut and I don't even know who John Hagees is. But, I don't recall either of them inciting the burning of embassies or the beheading of non-believers. Yes, Robertson did pray for ol' Hugo to get whacked but, hey, who hasn't prayed for that.

Seriously, if Christian whackoes came out and called for a "jihad" against those who desecrate Christian symbols and icons -- I'd stand up in opposition.

I think the Catholic church -- all the way to the Pontiff -- is just as culpable in the pedophilia scandal as are those, within the church, who committed those de able acts. If I'm not mistaken, a couple of Bishops were forced to resign due to their lies and complicity.

John Hagee is marginialized in the Christian community - last night on a christian station I was listening to a discussion of several biblical scholars pretty much skewer him; Robertson has been roundly criticized from all corners for his recent ridiculous assertions and comments.

Neither of these gentlemen has worked up hordes of followers into a violent frenzy, nor do I believe they would be able to if so inclined.

What is your point, exactly?

Again, no, Christians are not perfect, there are plenty of bad ones, and some horrible ones. But, as a Christian, I admit it, and I criticize them. Most Christians are like me in this. Most Muslims might very well not be extremist, fascist, Islamasists, but Most Muslims are not stopping those who are.
