One of my roommates in college was from NO. We talked about it when it happened - he said everyone in that town talked about and knew what would happen if a storm like this hit, and that the only way to ensure you survived was to get the out.

Everyone ed up from local to federal, democrat and republican, and that's pretty much where it should stop in the blame game.

School Bus Nagin was informed two days before the hurricane hit, but didn't follow the Hurricane Evacuation plan which called for School vehicles to be used for transportation if personal cars weren't sufficient. The School Bus yards were less than 5 miles away from the superdome, with one less than one mile away which had roughly 146 buses. A question. How come NO and La leadership hasn't fixed the problem of even
smallest detail in NO for their citizens. I thought all them dimm-o-craps had
