I finally understand the whole "draft Howard before Okafor" thing now.
I didn't think he was going to be that good that fast.
Would Howard be the youngest player in history to lead the NBA in rebounding if he kept up this pace?

cant wait till orlando trades francis for sum scrub player from the knicks, then when howards finally realises his been built around scrubs and theres no chance in winnnin here, he mite leave for SAS![]()
It seemed like a back pick then huh?
Howard easily would be the youngest player in NBA history to lead the league in that category.
Dolph Schayes led the NBA in rebounding as a 22-year-old in the 1950-51 season -- the first season the NBA started compiling rebounds as statistics.
Wilt Chamberlain was 23 and Bob Pe 24, for instance, when they won the le. Players could not leave college early to be drafted by the NBA back in the day, let alone leave high school as Howard did.
Moses Malone was plucked out of high school by the American Basketball Association in 1974. But he didn't lead the NBA in rebounding until he was a 24-year-old Houston Rocket.
I just wanted to point out for all of Dwight Howard's first-quarter heroics, he finished the final 3 quarters with 8 points and 6 rebounds.
Rasheed Wallace finished with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 steal. Ben Wallace finished with 5 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in a Pistons 84-73 win.
When Rasheed plays like that the Pistons are damn hard to beat.
Same can be said for Ginobili and Parker. When either is hot Spurs are one tough mofo.
Rasheed lives and dies by his three and hs three is streaky.
Nah. He can dominate games out of the post. His ass just doesn't like to be down there that often.
He's not exactly the Pistons version of Antoine Walker. He sets up the three pointer so it's a high percentage shot he's taking. That's why he's at 39% this season.
